Tunley Road has no through traffic and as The Coach House is also set well back from the street it’s very quiet and peaceful. “Like being in a country cottage” as one of our guests put it..

We are very well placed for local transport, there’s fast and regular transport to
central London and the West End within easy walking distance of the house.

From Balham Station (7 mins walk) you can take a Northern Line tube direct to
Leicester Square and Oxford Street (20 mins) or catch a train (8 mins) to
Victoria.

If you are arriving from an airport, the easiest and most convenient way of getting to us is to book a car. We recommend our local mini-cab company 9000 Cars, you need to book on line but the driver needs to be paid in cash and you will be asked to pay for parking (about £5, paid with a card) when you go with him to the car in the airport car park. The price reflect the increased price of fuel and compared with the train/tube option  may seem high,  but most people find the convenience out-weighs the cost.

Alternatively, from Heathrow take the Airlink bus to Victoria and then catch a cab. From Gatwick take the Gatwick non-stop express direct to Victoria, or the slower
train to Clapham Junction (last stop before Victoria), then take a taxi.

If you arrive by car there’s ample street parking. It is controlled Mon-Fri
9.30am-5.30pm, during that time you can buy a ticket for an hour or so from the
machine £2.90/hour using a card or use the RingGo app, or we can let you have a visitor’s daily parking permit for £10/day.
