Breakfast is taken informally in the kitchen/breakfast room of the main house. While Meena prepares and serves breakfast you will have the opportunity to discuss your plans for the day and ask advice on anything you are unsure about.

We normally serve a healthy variety of continental breakfasts: freshly brewed coffee, variety of teas (including herbal), fruit juice, croissants, rolls, jams, yogurt and fresh fruit, normally preceded by Meena’s famed porridge.

As a special treat, once during your stay, we’ll serve you the traditional “full English” breakfast – fried eggs, bacon, sausages, tomatoes and mushrooms.

On Sundays (our day off) we put breakfast provisions in the Coach House kitchen for you to help yourself.

Many guests opt for the flexibility of a “Sunday breakfast” on a number of mornings during their stay. Let us know and we will ensure that The Coach House kitchen is stocked with whatever you want.
